Summary: The front desk person Armando we checked in was courteous and professional. Unlike the person who was at the desk during checkout. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. He is the reason we will never come back to this establishment.

Summary: Room had a sulfur smell. We are thinking it was plumbing? The pool was out of service.

Summary: I give this stay 1 star due to customer service. We booked for the hot tub and when we checked in the hot tub was freezing cold. We notified staff and they said we could check out for a full refund. We decided we would stay one night as we had driven 8 hours to get there and they told us that was fine and we could check out the next day with only one night charged. They ended up charging for two nights. We called to discuss with the manager. He stated, after going back and forth with him and being told he would return our calls and never did, that he would in fact issue a refund for the amount overcharged. We waited 10 days for the refund and it never appeared. I tried 3 different times to contact the manager again regarding this, however, each time was told he was not available to the phone. I finally called my credit card company to dispute the charges. I would never stay at this location again. They have horrible customer service.

Summary: this was a nice moderate hotel. The staff was lovely on check in and the room clean. The area is quite rough. Oil and Natural Gas odors fill the air and the other hotel clientele were roughnecks. We stayed on our way to Carlsbad. Nice eats at Adobe Rose. A bit noisy at night in the hotel. Glad I brought my white noise machine.
