Positive: This property is gorgeous. One of the staff said the building was 350 years old. It is well maintained. The gardens are beautiful. All the printed materials are in Spanish and English if you need it. The rooms and common areas feature art from local artisans that is for sale. The bed was comfortable and had lots of Blankets for cold nights. Space heaters are also available. Breakfast was included, and there is a safe interior place to park your car off the street.

Negative: The hotel has no control over the noise of the neighborhood, and their welcome card even said that because the hotel is in a city, there may be outside noise. My room was upstairs facing a side street that has an outdoor entertainment venue, so there was noise on Saturday night. If you need quiet, I suggest you ask for a downstairs room that will be a bit more sheltered from outside noise.

Positive: Our room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel grounds were very nice. The staff was excellent. We also enjoyed the food in the restaurant. The hotel was located in a fairly quiet neighborhood within an easy walk to the market. Would highly recommend.

Positive: This was one of our expensive stops on our trip. In the end we didn't mind the cost as any excess that we thought we were paying is going to charitable causes. We would encourage everyone to do this. This is a wonderful place with wonderful people and a wonderful mission. And the rooms are good. And there are lashings of hot water. And the staff are great and so is the breakfast and the restaurant and it's only four blocks walk from Poncho Plaza. Please come in droves and add to the successes of this place. We stayed an extra night and were sad to leave. Great communal sofa area with log fire as well!

Negative: Not a case of not liking but it can get chilly in the winter season and feel a tad damp but there are electric oil heaters in the rooms.
