Located on the cathedral square, in an exceptional Renaissance half-timbered building dating from 1567 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this large 120 m² apartment has been tastefully renovated and decorated to offer you an extraordinary experience.
This superb 4-person apartment offers a magical view of the Cathedral's facade, day and night (1st floor with elevator). You can enjoy the light show on the façade in summer, or the Christmas market on the square in winter, from the comfort of your sofa in the living room. Bed linen and towels provided.

La Place de la Cathédrale is located in the heart of Strasbourg. It forms the historic center of the city, with some buildings dating back to the Renaissance. This district is also home to the famous Notre-Dame de Strasbourg cathedral, completed in the 15th century. Ideally located, you can walk to most of the city's tourist and cultural attractions. A lively shopping district, you'll be able to take full advantage of the festive season!
Transport
- It's not possible to park on the square, and it's difficult to park in the surrounding streets of the historic center (complicated access, high rates, limited duration).
- The Place de Gutenberg parking lot is the nearest, a 2-minute walk away (€44/24h). Parking Austerlitz is a little further away, a 6-minute walk, but much cheaper (€20/24h).
- Streetcar: "Langstross Grand' rue" stop is a 5-minute walk away. From here, you can reach the main station in around 7 minutes on streetcar lines A or D. The "Homme de Fer" stop is a 6-minute walk away. From here you can reach the European Parliament in 15 minutes and other tramway lines.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this apartment! It was a private oasis in the middle of all the hustle-and-bustle of the cathedral square. We were concerned about no air conditioning in July, but we stayed quite comfortable with an excellent cross-breeze from the many windows, as well as fans. If you are sensitive to city noise, this might not be the place for you. But, we loved being in the center of it all. The double-paned windows were very effective at keeping the noise level down, but we preferred them open for the fresh air and to watch the activity in the square. The house was very clean, and well stocked with all essentials. Anything extra you might need is just steps away from your front door.

Summary: Spectacular view of the cathedral, spacious room for 4, comfortable beds, central location that can't be beat. We knew we were in a popular location so we didn’t really mind the bustle and nightly noise. Easy day trips to Colmar and Riqueville plus Kehl Germany. Great restaurants within walking distance. We loved our stay in this stylish flat!

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Be prepared to be right in the middle of tourist central (and all that may entail). But being able to look out on the square and at the cathedral is magical. The layout of the apartment is nice as the bedrooms are private. The kitchen and apartment overall is very well equipped, especially if you like to cook rather than eating out. We were two adult couples and very much enjoyed this space.

Summary: First property is in an A location. Right next to Cathedral. Arrived at night. There were no lights around the door or number we had to get out of taxi and use cell phone lights. Kind of pain.Also our automatic key lock stopped working and we knew it was glitching we tried to be proactive and the management didn’t return email till next day. Meanwhile that night we were locked out and after several tries got in touch w/ their on call service. They resolved the problem but I had to go and collect the physical key after over an hour of trying to figure it out.That really took a lot on my end .

Summary: La Place de la Cathédrale "The view of the cathedral from the living room is fabulous. The kitchen is super well equipped. I would definitely stay again. We were there inly four nights, but it would also be perfect for a ling stay of several months. In addition to being in the cultural center, there's a grocery store nearby. Note that the street and square below are pedestrian and lively, so in the summer with open windows you have people noise. We were fine with it, but it might bother others."

Summary: La Place de la Cathédrale "We loved staying right across from the cathedral - even though it was a bit loud and busy, we loved to keep the windows open and look at the cathedral even at night. Excellent location! The apartment is huge with 2 big bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen is well stocked with almost anything you would need. Only downside is that it does not have AC, and one of the main fans in the living room did not work. But they had 3 other fans so we were comfortable. Will definitely stay here again!"

Some reviewers mentioned the noise so we booked it understanding what we were getting into. Being right in the center of the action isn't for everyone, so there are times I personally would choose to stay a little further away for a quieter setting. Plenty of space, great restaurants nearby, and a view that cannot be beat!"
