Positive: It was a clean, modern, hotel room with a spacious outdoor patio. There was free parking for the car in front. Although located in a back-warren of streets, it is close enough to the beach to walk to restaurants there.

Negative: Needs a more obvious sign at the front door of the hotel.

Positive: This is one of my family’s favorite places we’ve ever stayed. Simona and Antonio were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms were SPOTLESS, and the location was perfect. Everything was so comfortable and well thought out. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re planning a trip in the south of Italy, this is the place you should stay. I have nothing but amazing things to say.

Negative: We have tried to find something that could be improved, but everything was literally perfect. 10/10. We hope to be back! Grazie mille Simona e Antonio! 😊

Positive: La Perla is a hidden Gem nestled in a side street of Amantea. The proprietors Tonino and Simone are attentive, courteous and are always available if you have a question or concern. The building is clean and bright and well taken care of. The morning breakfasts and Cappuccinos are definitely top notch and are made with attention to detail and taste. The rooms are airy and comfortable and the large back deck was our favourite place to sit and have a glass of wine at the end of our day. La Perla,is located right behind a Supermarket and a 5 minute walk to Via Margherita, where shops and restaurants are located and 5 minutes to the beach going the other way.If you book your next vacation stay at La Perla in Amantea,Calabria.I promise you, you will not be disappointed!

Positive: We had a wonderful week at La Perla. The gracious hosts, Antonio and Simona, were always available to answer any questions and ensure we had a comfortable stay. The location is perfect - just steps away from the train station, downtown, and the beach. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated in a beach-like theme. The loft was perfect, allowing for extra space and privacy for family members (in our case, our adult son). The breakfast was an added bonus offering a variety of American and Italian style options.

Summary: Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely go back in the future!

Positive: I loved my whole stay from the minute I was greeted until the final day. We stayed for 8 days and definitely will be returning again. The hosts Antonio and Simona were some of the nicest and caring people I have met. They made us feel so safe and at home. The room was spotless and the size was perfect. Steps away from the beach and Lungomare boardwalk. The breakfast was also very delicious with fresh fruit and many more breakfast goodies served every morning. I definitely would recommend La Perla for your stay in Amantea.

Positive: Great location close to the Beach. Nice room with balcony. Simona was lovely, brought a Breakfast Tray (options/time pre-ordered) to our Room. They were building a common Breakfast Room, but it wasn't ready for Visitors. Coffee. Croissants, Juice.

Negative: Anantea is a Summer Resort Town. We were there in November and most stores, Restaurants were closed. Still nice to walk around. Nice pedestrian walkway along the Ocean. This place would be great in the Summer.
