Positive: Altijd fijn om bij iemand te verblijven met een passie, en Claudia heeft het. Dat zie je en voel je. Fornasetti-behang van Cole & Son, bedden van Treca en servies van KPM Berlin zegt al genoeg. Het uitzicht over zee en de bergen is rustgevend en de zonsondergang is prachtig. We hebben heerlijk geslapen en zijn uitgerust vertrokken. En dan ook nog ontzettend prettig en gastvrij personeel. Wij vragen elkaar eigenlijk nooit meer: was het goed of wat vind je ervan? De vraag is: komen we hier terug? Ja, natuurlijk!

Positive: La Pastorella was without a doubt one of the highlights of our journey through Italy. 💜🇮🇹 From the moment my daughter and I arrived, we knew we had found somewhere special. The breathtaking views, the beautiful surroundings, the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to every little detail make this place feel like a hidden jewel in Calabria. But what truly makes La Pastorella unforgettable is the hospitality. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The wonderful breakfasts, the delicious dinner, the beautiful pool overlooking the landscape and the warmth of the people made it very difficult to leave. After travelling through Italy and driving 1,800 km in nine days, La Pastorella was exactly the kind of place that makes you want to stop the car, put the keys away and simply stay. 😊 There are beautiful hotels, and then there are places that have a soul. La Pastorella is one of those places. Thank you for giving my daughter and me such a beautiful memory of Calabria. We left with full hearts and would return without hesitation. Highly, highly recommended. 💜

Positive: La struttura era bellissima, tenuta bene e curata in ogni minimo particolare. La stanza era pulita, in ordine e aveva un profumo buonissimo ahaha. Il personale cordiale, preparato e disponibile ad ogni esigenza, la stessa proprietaria si prende cura dei propri ospiti in modo eccellente. In più i due cagnolini ( i veri mini proprietari ) vi terranno compagnia per tutta la durata del soggiorno, tra coccole e e giochi. Chiudo dicendo che il è cibo veramente eccellente, ed abbondante, tanto che con la colazione potreste benissimo saltare il pranzo.
Negative: La strada per arrivarci non è il massimo.

Positive: Everything. The owner and staff were fantastic. Breakfast was an unbelievable feast. The room was very spacious with a really comfortable bed. I was sad to leave.

Positive: We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The whole property is tastefully furnished with high quality products and the bed is superbly comfortable. We had a balcony room with a lovely sea view. We enjoyed a superb meal with the owner Claudia and all the other guests one evening, lovingly cooked by the 2 friendly Italian ladies who work for Claudia but are more like family than employees. Breakfast was also excellent and Claudia gave us a restaurant tip which we followed and enjoyed.The new pool upgrades the property further. 2 friendly dogs make the property feel like a home.

Positive: If you are trekking down the Italian southern coast, visiting Campania and Calabria, this is the place you want to stay at. Close to the beaches and many old mountain villages alike, this is a comfortable, superb place to stay. The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the mountains and the Mediterranean below is breathtaking and so good and plentiful! If you stay there, make sure you ask Klaudia the owner to have Gina, a local mamma, to cook you dinner, you will NOT regret it, the food is so delicious and the price unbeatable!
