Positive: We had an ocean view bungalow and it was fantastic to be so close to the water. The sunsets were amazing! There are only six bungalows, so it is a small and intimate property.
Negative: No card facility only cash. Limited English.

Positive: Nathalie & Thierry were very warm, welcoming & deeply attentive to our needs for our 7 night stay in a garden bungalow. La Parenthese has a cozy feeling, with well-kept gardens, swimming pool & relaxing sea views with sunsets.
Negative: Reviews say it’s quite serene & peaceful. We didn’t find this the case at all. During the July/ August school holidays many local families & groups get together for village parties & celebrations that played loud music during the day & late into the night. Wifi was unavailable in our garden bungalow.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay here. The property offered exactly what we were looking for: peace and quiet, beautiful sunsets, and delicious meals. The owners are not only helpfyll, but you can tell they are genuinely kind people who went out of their way to make our trip seamless, helping us arrange scooters, massages, laundry, and even sourcing some local vanilla for us to take home. Wishing them all the best in their venture. I will absolutely be recommending their place to my friends!

Positive: My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional – mainly thanks to the wonderful hosts. From the very beginning, they were incredibly warm, helpful, and welcoming. They created a cozy, home-like atmosphere that made me feel right at home. They were always ready with great advice, recommended fantastic local attractions, and took care of every detail of the stay. I will remember this place mostly because of them!

Positive: Beautiful location, lovely room and setting. Thierry and Nathalie were warm and friendly, the food was great and the sunset on the sofa, over the sea - to die for 😍.
Negative: WiFi a touch slow, but that’s only by European standards. Compared to the rest of Madagascar, I can’t and won’t complain! Clutching at straws as we would say.
