Positive: Breakfast was great, fresh croissants which were excellent. Our room was very clean and extra pillows were provided on request.

Negative: All good

Negative: There isn’t a door separating the bathroom from the bedroom, which seems a bit odd and lacking in privacy!

Positive: Good breakfast, enjoyed in the garden. Comfortable bed.

Negative: A little remote, needed to drive out to find a restaurant. As there was a table and chairs in the room, it was a little crowded, but breakfast is served in room if weather not good, so this is necessary. Maybe a dining area for guests is on the future plans?

Positive: Spacious room at the top of the house, decorated with great taste. Everything is new and super clean. Very comfortable large bed (king or superking?), good pillows, very nicely appointed shower room and the bonus of a fridge. Very quiet. Great breakfast served in the room at the table which has a cute view of the lane. Very friendly hosts who are happy for you to have a picnic meal in the evening in the room rather than have to drive to find a restaurant. We only stayed for a one night stopover but the area around has very attractive rolling countryside that looks like it would be good for cycling or walking.

Positive: It was like having your own apartment! We arrived for the evening and didn’t need to go anywhere. Lyn cooked us a delicious meal which we enjoyed in our spacious room. When then watched a film on the very large TV and snuggled down for the night in the very comfy bed. Breakfast was lovely eggs, cheese, ham, bread, croissants etc. Everything was spotlessly clean and well thought through. A perfect stopover on our way from Calais to the south of France.

Summary: An extremely comfortable stay!
