Positive: Paul & Anne were such lovely hosts. We stayed at La Maronniere ahead of our wedding, and used our time here to finalize our plans and prepare for the event. The apartment had everything we could have needed. Located in the center of the charming Challignac, the property was stunning and surrounded by the most beautiful countryside. Would highly recommend.

Positive: This is a hidden gem. If you're looking for a serene, peaceful, and exquisite place to stay, surrounded by nature and fresh air, this is the perfect spot. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need, combining authentic historical surroundings with modern, high-quality finishes. The highlight is the bedroom, featuring perfectly restored centuries-old beams and the most comfortable bed I've slept on in weeks. It's the best mattress I've encountered on my many trips.

Negative: There really isn't anything negative I can say about La Maronniere, but if I had to I would mention that the bedroom is on the 1st floor and isn't suitable for people to climb the stairs with disabilities. I hope that helps.

Positive: Really nice bedroom with comfortable bed - got a great nights sleep Beautiful quiet location. Loved the courtyard & the fact that you could open the double doors in warm weather to let the sun in. Really appreciated fresh bread cheese & Jam. Lovely hosts made to feel welcome.

Negative: Great facilities - just a suggestion - a toaster would have been nice & no diswasher but not a big problem when staying on my own.

Summary: Would definitely book again - perfect location really enjoyable stay, lovely hosts.
