Positive: We had a wonderful stay. The house was great and located in a very calm and beautiful area, perfect for a relaxing long weekend. The host was extremely welcoming, easy to communicate with, and very flexible with check-in and check-out arrangements. He also shared excellent recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit nearby. The house had everything we needed, and we truly enjoyed our stay

Positive: Rural location but within 30 minutes of some very interesting places e.g. Etretat, Honfleur. Spacious accommodation with nice grounds, views and facilities (e.g. games room, tv and wifi, pool and Petanque pitch). Our host was super helpful and friendly and provided some very useful local information. We were provided with a walk around by the host on arrival and rec'd a welcome bottle of cider and breakfast pastries mid way through the week. Walking in the local area and seeing wildlife and working farms.
Negative: There are no walk to shops or restaurants but we sort of knew this on booking.
Summary: Interesting and enjoyable week in the Marais Vernier countryside

Positive: Location is a quiet village in rural countryside. The property has a private garden and shared pool and larger garden.
Negative: We would have liked a bakery, shop and restaurant within walking distance of the village, but these were accessible by car in the surrounding area.
Summary: We had a great time and Paul was so helpful with recommendations of places to visit and eat.

Positive: Fantastic property for a family holiday, full of historic features, comfortable, well equipped, clean, with a private small garden and a shared pool. The village is very quiet and safe. Paul was the most helpful, provided us with many links to local supermarkets, places to visit, etc, and responded to our texts pretty quickly. The location of the village was ideal for us with up to an hour drive from Caen and under an hour drive to Honfleur, Rouen, and Etretat. There are no shops or restaurants in the village (although a restaurant is being refurbished at the moment), but you can find all that a short drive away.
