Positive: great facilities. beautiful ecolodge. only room that had hot water.

Negative: grumpiest hotel staff I have ever met. Poor communication. Did not tell me how to get to the hotel or offer assistance. Turns out only way is by boat at least 30 min away from town. I had to book my own transfer. They didn't charge the 50% prepayment listed on Booking. After I left the country, they asked me to pay the prepayment (without charging my credit card). He also wanted unsecured emailed copies of my passport/visa stamps. No other hotel in the country asked for this. Terrible service for such a high price point hotel. Staff was much friendlier at Markolombia.
