Positive: Very big and everything available ! The owners have really thought of everything. Hairdryer, pots, pans, matches for barbecue, dish washer tablets, tea, coffee, outside play area for kids, large outdoor table… thank you for this great stay!

Negative: The only insignificant part was no Boulangerie in easy walkable distance but this is nit picking.

Negative: I got used to it in the end but the local church bells at 7am seemed a little too enthusiastic.

Positive: We really liked the house, it was very spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the fact the we could have our meals outdoors (there were benches and tables in front of the house). There was also enough place to park two cars which was very practical. Not far away from a very nice beach you can also have a nice, long walk to the Normandy American Cemetery. The owners are very arranging and easy to contact. Strongly recommend it! :)

Negative: The 5th bedroom isn’t a bedroom just a sofa bed on the landing, and the shower upstairs is very small and low.

Positive: I booked this home to spend a few days going to Mont Saint Michel, WWII sites, museums, and the beach. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! I knew the weather was potentially going to be a problem, so I chose this home because it had a ping pong table and a good amount of indoor space where we could play games. La Maison Blanche was the perfect home away from home. It supplied everything we needed for my family of 8 from appliances, linens, dishware and cleaning supplies to kids sand toys for the beach. The proximity to everything I wanted to do on the trip was even better than expected. Being able to take an early morning run to the beach while also being a few minutes drive to other key spots of D-day was wonderful. The owners are very kind and thoughtful. While we didn't need them, I noticed several extras like dog bowls and items for younger children (crib, high chair, bibs). Had we not brought our own games there were several already at the house as well. The home is also only a few minutes from a small store that sold a large variety of options, including ones that were gluten-free which was a great surprise for me as I have celiac disease. And while not gluten-free, they did have a pizza vending machine outside of the store available 24hrs, and that was a fun treat for my children.
