Positive: The neighbour cut down fresh coconuts for us to drink from. The pool was clean and delightful. Mr Gilbert was an attentive and kind host. We would return.

Positive: We enjoyed our stay at La Magdalena. The garden is beautiful, with lovely flowers as well as coconut trees on the side. The apartment is single level and stair-free, which served our needs well. And it is close to the National Hospital. We recommend that you have a car, though there are buses and taxis. Accoutrements are all fine. There are various Hindu symbols around the house and garden. Many other small items that reflect the unique taste of the owners, especially in the kitchen. The landlords/managers are very nice.

Positive: It was the perfect location. This home away from home is amazing. The facilities are of good standard. We received a warm welcome though we were late. The pool is a nice but we did not use it as the weather was chilly. The kitchen is well equipped and it's a shame we did not use much of it. One thing that exceeded our expectations is the calm and peaceful setting. Get up early, have a coffee on the terrace and enjoy the birds chirping.

Negative: The place is a 9.8 but there were a few things to pin point: 1. The garage was occupied by another car. We had to store ours in open air. 2. We paid for 5, but no pillow and duvet for the sofa bed. We were told it is inside one of the rooms but could only find bed sheets and two duvets in total. 3. A full length mirror in one of the rooms. 4. Unable to use the rain shower as the mixer tap provided cold water. Fortunately there was a hand shower, which we had to hold it above our head. The rail could not be adjusted further up.
