Positive: Everything was truly exceptional. The place is super-quiet, very clean, with a wonderful garden area. The owners were very nice, responsive to our needs, and willing to help. The breakfast was excellent!

Negative: The only issue is that the internet connection in our room did not work. My husband had a couple of work meetings scheduled online during our short holiday and the lack of an in-room wi-fi connection was a little bit of a problem for him. The owners, however, were ready to help and let my husband use the common area for his meetings and made sure he could work undisturbed.

Positive: The location was great for exploring the countryside and small hill towns. Monique, one of the hosts, gave us ideas for things to do: a loop drive through beautiful country to visit 4 hill towns, a nice walking path nearby, and a tour and tasting at a local, historic winery. She also gave us dinner suggestions and made reservations for us. Monique and Silvana served us a delicious breakfast. The historic house was beautifully renovated. La Mafalda in Oltrepo was a last-minute booking for us when another lodging cancelled our reservation. We were more than pleased with the substitution and would gladly come again!
