Positive: The building was built by hippies in the 1980’s. It was very interesting. It has been refurbished by the owner as she got the money to do it. The one we were in has been completely rebuilt.

Positive: This is a great place to stay to get to Big Bend NP. It is small town (great night sky) but has a couple restaurants, gas stations and a grocery store. The Panther junction visitor center is about a 1 hr 10 min drive away. The place is super quiet, clean and well maintained with all amenities that you need in a cabin. The best part was the host, Ingrid. She was super helpful, responsive and was just an amazing host. Highly recommend this place if you are visiting Big Bend NP.
