Positive: The rebuilt hamlet was a lovely surprise. Beautiful, almost film set piece. The guest house / B&B is very comfortable, large rooms. Fantastic shower (in fact a double shower, large enough for a rugby team) Only had one night before heading to the airport, so no time to visit the Castle or grounds / they were also closed at the time of our visit. Roselle was delightful on Check In.

Negative: Being a Friday at the end of August I did assume that more than one restaurant would have been open as there was a choice of five. But No, only the Pizzeria was open (very good it was) no bar or anything else. I did book the B&B because of the choice of restaurants in walking distance and not having to get back into the car and drive. Guessing they only open when they know they have coach loads of tourists coming or events going on in the village.

Negative: Knowing there’s no uber service. Upon checking in it would’ve been helpful to know the bus stop location and schedule, taxi options/contact info and that Uber does not service the area. (We missed our flight home because Uber confirmed a ride and then canceled 9 hours later when it was too late to adjust for this issue).

Positive: The B&B is very cared for, everything is clean and spacious and the village is very cute; you can park for free. Piacenza is 30min away

Negative: Windows are old and you can hear "everything from outside", in my case, a lot of birds overnight. the room could have a table and chair and they could offer some kind of breakfast partnership (there is basically one bar in the village that offers "breakfast")
