Summary: Sonya and her staff were amazing. Very patient with my limited Spanish. Able to coordinate and assist with coordination of all my transportation needs. The property is amazing and a fabulous place to relax!!!!!

Summary: The property is set in amazing rainforest gardens, the hosts are charming and welcoming and so enthusiastic about the wildlife in the area, so happy to show visitors the frogs and lizards, sloths and birds. I absolutely loved it. It felt so safe, clean and friendly i would definitely recommend La Kukula Lodge

Summary: What a pleasant stay our family enjoyed at La Kukula Lodge! The accommodations exceeded our expections for the price. Proximity to the beach while being surrounded by jungle was fantastic! Cooked-to-order breakfast each morning ensured we started our day off right. We will definitely be back- thank you!!

Summary: A wonderful jungle property with the sounds and sights of nature all around. The hosts were very attentive, the included breakfasts were excellent. Everything was very well maintained. An easy walk to a gorgeous natural clean beach. Everything about this unique property was excellent!

Summary: The room was very clean and comfortable. However, it would have been nice to have a refrigerator and also an air conditioner since it can get very warm and the ceiling fan alone does not cool the room down. The staff and owners are super friendly and very attentive. We left very early in the morning and the lady working in the kitchen (I believe her name was Gira) offered to prepare us some sandwiches, which super nice of her. One negative was that things do not dry since its super humid outside as well as in the room. However, if you enjoy nature this is definitely the place to stay!

Summary: Great place to feel immersed in the jungle, with trees and animals all around. We saw a sloth, monkeys and agouti, they have a tiny frog sanctuary, and it's close to the beach (10 min). Room has a mosquito net and helps to feel immersed in the jungle (no windows) Food and drinks are available and the breakfast was decent.
