Our farm is a veritable haven of tranquillity where children can play in safety, and couples can relax in the peaceful Normandy countryside. We are only 6km from beautiful sandy beaches and ideally placed for visiting Mont St Michel, Bayeux, and the Landing Beaches. The attractive market town of La Haye du Puits, 6km away, has all the shops you need, including 2 supermarkets. If you are a fan of French street markets there is one available every day within easy driving distance. We have swings, a selection of bicycles, table tennis and table football and a trampoline available on site as well as a covered heated swimming pool from April until October.
Other sporting and leisure activities available nearby include tennis, golf, horse riding, canoeing, windsurfing, sailing, karting and ice-skating. There is now a network of cycle routes going to La Haye du Puits and Coutances in one direction, and Portbail and Briquebec in the other, all of which can be joined very close to the house (200m). We are situated within the National Parc des Marais.
We have 4 cottages, 2 with 3 bedrooms (Stable Cottage and Chèvrefeuille), a two bedroom cottage (Jasmin) and a 1 bedroom cottage (La Rêve).
Bed linen is included in the price of the rental for stays of 4 days and more, otherwise we can provide bed linen and towels for shorter stays for 15€ per person. Towels alone can also be supplied for 5€ per person. We offer an end of stay cleaning service for 40€, please let us know upon arrival and we will arrange this for you.

Summary: Spacious cottage in a great location. Pool was excellent. The special cover meant we could use it every day regardless of the weather. We enjoyed being on the farm and Wil and Amanda were friendly and helpful hosts

Summary: Everything was just right. Informal without being slipshod. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Really relaxing with enough to do to keep two teenage boys interested. Nice dog to keep you company if needed. She showed us where the best walks were Really nice visit.

Summary: Lovely gite - clean, well appointed with everything you could need. Excellent facilities and really friendly and helpful owners. Loved the livestock and of course Inca the resident pooch. Pool was great. Location was really good with access to cycle tracks for walking or borrowing one of the many bikes available.Would recommend to anyone seeking a chilled out holiday close to beaches. We will certainly go back again.

Summary: We had a very enjoyable week in this very spacious and well equipped gite. Wil and Amanda were very welcoming and amiable hosts. They involved our two grandchildren with the farm activities when possible. It is in an idyllic rural setting with only a 15 minute drive to the beaches and 5 minutes to the supermarkets. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Summary: The farm is a rural paradise for young children and adults alike. Our three were taken on day trips but would have been happier staying at home to swim in the pool and feed the animals. The proximity of cycle paths is perfect for borrowing the bikes or going for a run or a long walk to the cider farm. We hope to return in the very near future to enjoy a little more of the finest things in life.

Summary: The cottage was really comfortable and well-equipped and more than big enough for two people and a dog. Wil and Amanda were very welcoming and gave us plenty of tips about where to go and about local vets. The cottage is in a lovely, peaceful location. We had great weather while we were there in October and it was a bonus to be able to use the heated pool. The garden was great for our dog and a real suntrap in the afternoons. We also enjoyed being able to walk from the door on the old railway tracks. There were so many great beaches in the area, it was hard to choose which one to visit each day. We will definitely be returning. Thank you very much Wil and Amanda..
