Positive: This is a refurbished farm turned "hotel". You get a great room, with excellent finish and materials. The bed is superb, the shower is fantastic, and the quietness of the location is unmatched. The staff is really nice and responsive as this is a family owned business, so you know where your money is going.

Negative: Really minor couple of things. The breakfast provided (at extra cost) is only on the sweet side. So, if you would like to have something salty, then you can use the kitchen. Last, the family owns some really cute cats (I love cats!) but if you are allergic (as I am) then you may feel some discomfort in the bed. The first day I couldn't tell what was wrong with my itchy eyes and some sneezes, then the second day I saw one of the cats and I talked to the staff and then I understood.

Positive: Location was fabulous, in the countryside, very peaceful. The gite was amazing, it had a sauna. Parking for our motorbike was great. The was a supermarket 2km away so we grabbed a pizza, wine and some pastries for breakfast. The gite has a kitchen with all appliances and teas and coffees.

Negative: Nothing, all was very good

Summary: our first night of our journey by motorbike to Provence. Bed was comfy.

Positive: La Douce Halte was one of the most beautiful accommodation that we stayed in. Our room had an interesting concept of "no-doors" so it was very spacious, very clean and well designed, with modern furniture. We had everything in our room (even a portable speaker), a full equipped cooking area with a refrigerator, but the view through the roof windows got us hooked. The room being upstairs, you could admire beautiful green fields of the domain, hear the birds chirping by the pond and enjoy the fresh air while watching the sun set. 🌞 We asked for a breakfast outside, and we ate a delicios meal with a view like no other! The sauna inside our room was a big surprise and it was a nice way of relaxing. It was worth staying here and we regret that we stayed for only one night! 😅
