Positive: Cristina’s home is quaint and beautiful - located right in the heart of the historic part of Tivoli. It is cosy with functioning air conditioning (which is necessary in an old house the winter!). The house was well-stocked with everything you might need, from four different types of coffee (!) to jams, crisp breads, blankets, utensils, pots and pans etc. Cristina was an excellent host - no fuss but very willing and ready to give advice as/when asked for. La Dimora is peaceful and sets the tone for exploring Tivoli.

Negative: Nothing. There is very little natural light coming into the house, but that is because the original structure of the house, dating back around 300 years, has been maintained. A trade-off I’ll happily make again!

Positive: Beautiful old house, with great attention to detail. It’s within walking distance of all monumental places in Tivoli. The hosts are absolutely lovely, and took great care of us. Would definitely come back!

Negative: Stairs are very steep, be careful!

Positive: Excellent place to stay for our short visit to Tivoli. Christina was the perfect host. Tried very hard to communicate in English via whatsapp on a daily basis to make sure we were comfortable with everything. Would reccomend this property and host for anyone staying in Tivoli. Easy and quick public transport into Rome.

Positive: This is a lovely appartement in a great location in Tivoli. It has traditional charm but also all the mod cons you need. The owners Cristina and Pierre were very friendly and helpful.

Positive: The location was a short walk from the train station yet very quiet. We were steps from a piazza and restaurants and a church. Beds are comfortable, plenty of extra blankets

Negative: We liked everything. Maybe a sofa that seats three people or an additional stuffed arm chair would be nice for conversation when we aren’t sitting at the dining table.

Positive: The apartment was charming and heritage listed. The host was thoughtful and friendly and had stocked the fridge with milk and juice as well as breakfast food. The location was within the old town of Tivoli and it was an easy walk to all main attractions. We only stayed 3 days but would happily have stayed longer. Absolutely delightful.

Negative: Challenging parking, with very narrow laneway.
