Positive: The location was ideal for us. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming. Good kitchen and dining room. Plenty of space for parking. Excellent terrace.

Negative: The previous guests left the place quite dirty and dusty. There was nowhere to hang towels etc. in the downstairs bathroom. There was no screen or door or curtain to block off the downstairs bathroom. It was totally exposed. We could have had some directions regarding waste disposal and re-cycling.

Summary: A pleasant experience which could have been greatly improved with some attention to minor details.

Positive: A lovely homely place with a very warm welcome from Catherine. The room we stayed in had a closing door between the main room with the twin beds and a smaller room with a double bed which was ideal for our family. The breakfast was delicious and fresh and we even got a discount at the place we went to dinner thanks to her recommendation. There were toys and books for the children and we could also have used the kitchen to prepare our food if we'd decided to eat in. We will definitely come back to stay again.

Negative: The shower did not have a door which made for an interesting time trying to clean our toddler without the whole bathroom wet but we managed it!

Summary: A wonderfully warm welcome in this family friendly home-from-home place.

Positive: Good location, spacious room, reasonable breakfast, free parking, host very humble and friendly, guided us to a restaurant where we got a discount due to us staying at this hotel, nice and warm room during the cold November visit

Negative: Main thing would be the shower cubicle not having a curtain or a door - the existing door is broken and it hasn’t been fixed and water just spilled/scattered all over on showering, when contacting the host she didn’t bother about it, otherwise nothing
