Positive: Beautiful room with fantastic shower; fabulous Art Deco property tastefully decorated; lovely gardens. Secure parking . A real gem. However Fernande made it even better with her attention to detail. Due to a bit of miscommunication we arrived an hour early for breakfast but we still received a fabulous tailored breakfast which was delicious and set us on our journey home.

Summary: A wonderful place to stay, quiet and beautiful with Fernande making sure everything was perfect.

Positive: It was the best breakfast that I have ever received in a Hotel. The staff was very helpful and did not shy away from communicating with translator as i am not able to speak French. In my home country exists a saying "Living like god in France" to describe very good living conditions. After I have stayed in La Closerie, I understand where that saying comes from!

Negative: I only disliked that I had to leave after only two nights. I would have liked to stay longer but my travel schedule did not allow for it. I will definitely come back whenever I get a chance!

Positive: La Closerie is an architectural gem. It sits behind massive gates which open onto a perfect picture. The garden is well kept and stimulating. Even the plants are labelled. The staircase is superb. The lounge area is grand. Everywhere you turn there are beautiful pieces of art or furniture. Somehow within this grand space the hosts achieve a remarkable sense of welcome. The breakfast was superb. There were even some items to buy for last minute gifts!!! Home made of course. This is a hidden gem not too far from Paris.
