Positive: A little garden paradise in the countryside near Lecce. Roberto has created a beautiful place to relax. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our 4 day stay at la Chiesura. It's perfect for relaxing and enjoying the pool, perfect for children. The garden is the most amazing place with beautiful plants, full of cute lizards, birds and two very friendly cats. There is a football pitch, a tennis/basketball court and a boccia/boules area. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen/BBQ area. Galugnano village is within walking distance with a couple of bars and a café but we preferred to drive into Lecce for food (15min drive).

Negative: The interior design is slightly outdated but that didn't matter much as we spent all of our time outdoors. The single bed I slept on when bringing my daughter to bed was too soft and not comfortable to lie on for an adult.

Positive: We last visited La Chiesura in 2019 and enjoyed our stay and decided to return. We found the general facilities and gardens to be very good, however the outside furnishings and internal furnishings are rather run down and need replacing in some cases. Roberto the manager was very good and responsive to any request given to him. We enjoyed our stay but felt that an upgrade in some areas was required.

Negative: Washing Machine needs to be replaced and a kettle would have been a useful item in the kitchen.

Summary: We enjoyed out stay in a open and green location
