Positive: I liked the light coming through the windows and the views. The location was conducive to train travel and walking about. La Chambre is near the centro and is part of the local community. Johnnie at the nearby Caffetteria del Corso makes an excellent cappuccino and has scrumptious brioche. There is a little park adjacent to the facility with art and the sound of running water from the surrounding hillsides. The area is a place of historic pilgrimage and a spontaneous and welcomed sense of that developed during the stay. All of the people associated with the host Antonio were kind and professional. They were flexible and informative.
Summary: Highly recommended.

Positive: The location was perfect for us. Close to the historic Centre and a superb restaurant (Motisciali). The room was very spacious with lots of storage areas. Sadly a little wasted on us as we were only there for 1 night. Very clean and bright and a balcony/terrace area as well.
Negative: Italian hotels and guest houses seem to assume that everybody wants a coffee machine and so no kettle or any way of making tea or hot chocolate.
Summary: Friendly clean hotel, would stay there again
