Positive: We loved the quaintness and character of La Casona Azul - the flowers and birds, breakfast area, common spaces - all wonderful and easy to meet other guests if you want to or keep to yourself if that’s your style. Much more comfortable and interesting than big hotels and quiet / no nonsense / 100% safe unlike some hostel stays that I’ve had in other cities/trips. The staff are a particular joy and were SO helpful and accommodating. Breakfast (which we honestly didn’t think we would even bother with when we booked because we like coffee shops and breakfast out) became one of our favorite things because the coffee and food was great, the atmosphere was dreamy, and the staff were so delightful. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Positive: Wonderful location-close to so much but in a quiet street. Lucia is amazing -she was somehow always available and was always kind and accommodating. The breakfast was amazing -actually one of the best omelets I’ve ever had. The rooms were clean and cozy and the terrace up top was soo nice for relaxing in the morning and evening. Highly recommend staying here.
