Summary: La Casa del Verde was the highlight of my trip to Baños. The breathtaking mountain views, spacious private balcony, and the soothing sound of waterfalls made it unforgettable—I still miss those waterfall sounds even after returning home. The owner was incredibly attentive, almost like a personal concierge, and everyone was so kind and welcoming. I also had one of the best massages ever from the owner's mother. A helpful tip: taxis to and from town are only $1.50 cash, and a taxi from the hotel to Pailón del Diablo (Devil's Cauldron) is about $10. Bring plenty of small bills and coins. I can't wait to come back! ❤️

Summary: This family-owned guesthouse right on the river, and just a short taxi ride or lovely half-hour walk into the center of Baños was such a great place to rest and enjoy the tranquility. (There are restaurants you can walk to less than five minutes away.). Our room had beautiful views of the river and the king-size bed was very comfortable. Our private balcony had a hammock to lay in and take in the views of the surrounding lush mountains. The breakfast was great! And Johan, who manages his family’s property is very kind, helpful and a delight!

Summary: The breakfast was fantastic! Johann is a wonderful and super helpful host! He went above and beyond to help us find places of interest and even gave us bath caps and towels to enjoy the thermal pools. Highly recommend!

Summary: this was a very wonderful location with the river and mountains in the background, it’s family owned, they were very helpful in planning our time there, a very lovely breakfast, they have hammocks outside that you can lie in and take the scenery… and also they offer Massage there at a very reasonable price

Summary: Beautiful hotel, gorgeous shared balcony with views of the river and the mountain. Perfect spot to enjoy the included breakfast! Staff were all very nice and helpful, room was clean. Definitely recommend!

Summary: A truly beautiful and comfortable place! The owner speaks excellent English and is incredibly patient, meticulously writing down each of our requests and fulfilling them all. He spends a lot of time each day introducing us to the surrounding attractions, a job that requires immense patience—he's fantastic!

Summary: Staff was wonderful. Very helpful scheduling taxis and tours. Location was wonderful. Just outside of city next to river. House is clean and well kept. Breakfast very good. I would certainly stay again
