Positive: we liked, even loved the view from the terrace on the roof

Negative: We couldn't switch on any lights on or around the roof, to be able to enjoy the terrace after sun down. The inside of the house is cold, literally and figuratively: cold, no heating except a small blower that you use in a bathroom and no extra cover for the bed. Cold, because in the kitchen (which is also the living room) is only white cold light, no tissues (draperies, cushions, plaids, ...). Also compared to all the other locations we did (4) the same week; this one was by far the least generous for example not a little bit of coffee, no coffee machine or some capsules to make a coffee, no products in the bathroom (individual or in large format) It really lacked some basics compared to all the other sites we booked to make you feel at home or even just comfortable.

Summary: Great view, but unfortunately not a nice stay

Positive: Corniglia is the middle town in the Cinque Terre, so we were able to go either direction to get to the other towns. It made a great home base while we were there. We loved the patio on the top floor overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. We enjoyed a wonderful sunset on our first night.

Negative: We couldn’t find any taxis to get to the train station with rain in the forecast. We had to get there before the shuttle started in the morning. We ended up walking. Thankfully it didn’t rain. We also wanted to hike between the towns, but we weren’t able to because of the rain and a landslide closed one of the trails.

Summary: It was a wonderful experience in a very quiet neighborhood.

Positive: Fantastic location with breathtaking sunset views from the balcony. You can easily get here from Corniglia station via a public bus that runs every 10-15 minutes. If you don’t have the Cinque Terre pass, you can purchase bus tickets at the train station or the town center information center. Once you arrive in the town center, it’s just a 200-meter walk from the bus stop. Although there are a few steps along the path, reaching your accommodation is quite manageable. The town center has a few grocery shops and numerous restaurants nearby, many of which stay open until 10 or 11 PM. The apartment is small but cozy, featuring two separate bedrooms. The kitchen offers a lovely view from the window. However, there are no laundry services or washing machines available in or near the apartment. You can handwash clothes in the large sink on the balcony and dry them there as well.

Negative: An electric kettle and microwave would enhance the kitchen. The bathroom is a bit small and slippery, so adding an anti-slip mat would be beneficial. The pillows could also be more comfortable for sleeping. Despite these minor issues, this place is still worth a stay

Positive: Great location in the heart of Corniglia. Amazing views.

Negative: Very small bathrooms. Bedrooms were not connected internally so the second bedroom would not be suitable for small children. Fabulous terrace but it was 2 floors above the unit and was difficult to use as it did not have furniture.
