Positive: We were given a warm welcome by Grazia and her lovely daughter Simona ( who speaks excellent English). They helped us book a wine tasting and dinner nearby which was wonderful. The place felt like a home, with a well stocked kitchen available to us ( stocked with snacks and beverages), lovely outdoor grounds with lots of places to sit. Unfortunately we had cool, cloudy weather, so didn’t enjoy the pool. Grazia and Simona brought us breakfast foods to order - abundant and delicious!

Negative: I’m sorry the area is t more “walkable”. The roads are narrow with no shoulder or sidewalks. SWe came here because of the Sunday October festival but it was so crowded we couldn’t find a place to park so never got to it.

Positive: The very friendly hosts asked me each day what I did want for my breakfast, Because I am not much of a breakfast person I never asked for anything, but I still was able to get some water, fruit or yoghurts from the fridge. On the first morning I even got some leftovers, which were typical Sicilian and sweet :) Communication was not a big problem, because most of it was done by the daughter of the hosts, who is able to speak English. I am sorry for not speaking any Italian :) The room itself was very nice, new and modern. This is a perfect basis for trips to Taormina, Catania and lady Etna of course. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Positive: The whole property is very nice, the garden and outside area are beautiful and very well kept. The room was very clean and modern. The hosting family is very welcoming and concerned for your well being. The daughter speaks good English. For breakfast you are asked what you like and they bring it in the morning. One time we had a granita (Sicilian specialty) and the other day we had bread with ham and cheese. Both were very good and yummy. You can also make use of the kitchen (coffee, tea, bananas, yogurt,...). It's a good location to explore the Etna or Catania (areas).
