Positive: I stayed La Casa the Castara for 11 nights and loved the place. There is a number of apparents to choose from, each one unique and full of character. I stayed in 2 bedroom apartment which was ideal in every way. Each bedroom had en suite bathroom and there was open plan lounge with well equipped kitchen. Outside there is a big balcony with outside place to eat or just sit and relax. I loved the beautiful views from the balcony on the village and sea as much as watching hummingbirds flying around and feeding themselves from hanging down feeders. The location of the property is very convenient as it is located in the centre of the village with short walk to the beach, ships and local restaurants. It made feel like I was a part of this beautiful, tranquil carabbean village. The Casa the Castara is a family run property and the owners Narine and Scott are wonderful hosts who made us very welcome. I would be definitely coming back

Positive: Good location, close to the beach and there are restaurants and shops very close by.

Negative: Unfortunately, they were doing construction while I was there, so I did not get much rest in the afternoon.

Positive: Basic but clean and well equipped with plenty of space. Good air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Right in the centre of Castara and close to the beach. Shurlan, was very friendly and helpful and quick to answer any queries we had.

Negative: A bit noisy on weekend nights but we were expecting that because of it’s central location.
