Positive: Distinctive and interesting ancient building tastefully furnished, in the historic centre of Bourges with shops , cafes and buildings of interest nearby . Comfortable and well equipped . Excellent communication with host. Dedicated parking in the enclosed courtyard right outside the property .

Negative: There is a bollard in the road to access the historic centre and we couldn’t get the fob to work ( maybe because we were in an English van and on the other side of the road .) If you are visiting you need to drive very close to the bollard and aim the remote at it from the centre ! We really struggled but the host was brilliant in trying to assist remotely !

Summary: Complete one off stay in ancient building in the historic centre of Bourges with excellent communication from host .

Positive: Beautiful old fashion appartement in the center of Bourges. Everything you need, cosy and comfortable. Location is perfect to walk around and it is a must to have a private parking spot in the courtyard.

Negative: Kitchen is a little small but it didn't bother us as we had dinner out. Sofa bed is good for 1 night or 2

Positive: Easy walk to Cathedral. Several hopping restaurants nearby. Apartment is decorated brightly and with some cool artwork.

Negative: You have to navigate past a retractable bollard to get to the parking spot. It's a bit tricky. You have to pull your car up close then hit a button on the remote that you retrieve from a lock box. Works, but took me a minute to sort it out.

Positive: Location was excellent,, in the heart of the old town, private secure parking was a must as parking difficult in town centre. Apartment was warm and comfortable and Jeremy gave very good directions (essential as roadworks in street meant re-routing )
