Positive: Fabulous location on the river. Beautiful views. Nice pool. House was a comfortable size and layout. It was lovely to sit on the terrace in the morning and evening to eat. Host provided a kayak for on the river which was a very nice touch.

Negative: House was very damp so bed sheets and clothes felt damp. No door to ensuite bathroom, which exacerbated dampness and meant that the main bedroom had an unpleasant odour at times. The house was not very clean (old food splashes on kitchen tiles, grime in places, lots of old dust and cobwebs everywhere). I think the property is overpriced compared to other holiday properties I’ve stayed in.

Summary: Lovely property in beautiful location but did not meet expectations of cleanliness.

Positive: The house is lovely and spacious, surrounded by a large garden and gorgeous swimming pool. To top it up, an amazing view of the river, in the evening the view looked like a painting.the host gave us great restaurant tips, also where to find the nearest supermarket. She was very good at ensuring that the swimming pool was topped up with chlorine, so to keep it clean. Plus, she left us a robot that we could use to clean pool every morning, very handy. We were left with loads of towels that we could also use for the beach.

Negative: Some parts of the house were still a bit dusty, but we were left with plenty of cleaning products so we could keep house neat.
