Positive: The location is beautiful, you cannot fault it. The views are amazing, we had a private boat trip organised through the hotel which I would highly recommend, swimming in caves and stopping at Paradise beach is a must! There was one outstanding Ukrainian Lady who looked after us with 5* service, she really made the service stand out from everyone else. The pool area was lovely, we spent most of our time there. The room itself was spacious and clean.

Negative: The hotel is a 3 star as a max. I have really mixed feelings about the stay/service. When you arrive, there isn’t a traditional check in with a briefing, your passports are taken for scanning and we were drip fed information, you have to ask to get the full check in experience of the details. The staff aren’t there to “service” the guests, it is very transactional, but if you accept that then your expectations are lowered. The room we had was okay, the grounds walking to the room need work, similar to the grounds down to the swim platform. The food was okay.. the dinner I had on the first night was freezing cold and they gave a complimentary dessert, my partners dinner on the other hand was lovely (full fresh fish). They advise you communicate to them via the WhatsApp, but when we were at the swim platform, it took 30mins+ to get it.

Positive: It’s all about the location. The cabins are perched on the side of the cliff overlooking the south side of the bay. The views are absolutely stunning. Steep mountain faces, covered in forests that seem to cling on for dear life and the beautiful turquoise sea. Breakfast is delicious mix of local treats and fruit. Order your eggs how you like them and enjoy the view. Then grab your towel and head down to the jetty. After a swim and a soak in the sun you can either pick your way across the rocks or swim over to the main Kabak beach. Take a stroll across the beach and take some steps on the Lycian Way or if that sounds a little strenuous then just grab a cocktail and enjoy the view from the beach bar. Make sure you make it back to the jetty for sunset as this is something quite special. Our only regret was not staying longer.

Negative: Not much tbh. It has an air of shabby chic to it but that was part of the charm

Summary: The perfect couples romantic hideaway. Lovely staff and beautiful scenery. Can’t wait to go back!

Positive: La Boheme Kabak is situated in a truly gorgeous location: on the cliffs overlooking a quiet, beautiful bay, with loads of greenery around. The complex is fantastic, the houses are separated from each other so you always have a sense you have privacy, and the common areas, the restaurant, the poolside, the bar, are clean, well-organised and nicely decorated. There's a path leading to a jetty off the rocks so you can go into the sea.

Negative: Unfortunately, while the place has a fantastic location, the service wasn't up to standard. There are many comments and reviews about the road: it's apparently improved in comparison to previous years, but it's still quite rough, a dirt road that becomes dangerous after dusk or if it has rained. The hotel offers a sort of "unofficial" pick up and drop off service--you can leave your car in the parking above, and they can drive you up and down; that wasn't communicated to us at any point during check-in or our stay, we only knew because we read the other reviews. The service was quite subpar and chaotic: we requested a cleaning service on day 5 (no cleaning before hand) and it's very likely they wouldn't have cleaned our room at all during our entire stay (8 days) had we not requested it. When we checked in, no information was provided about anything. We checked in quite late, so that was understandable, but no one spoke to us the following day to tell us, for instance, about the car situation, or about the fact there was a jetty downstairs (again, we only knew this because we read the other reviews, and some of the English-speaking guests seemed entirely unaware of this). On some days, they brought us complimentary water, on some not. When we would eat at the restaurant, they would almost always forget something, mess up an order, or take a very long time to take our order. Some of the staff were absolutely wonderful (we had a Russian waitress that was very attentive and fantastic) but so the service was contingent on who would be working that day. I did find that the staff was really nice toward local guests, so it might be a language barrier but given that this is supposed to be a luxury stay, we felt that the service was not up to the standard we expected.

Negative: They don’t clean the room during the whole stay and given that you can’t flush toilet paper it was not pleasant to have a bin full off waste toilet tissue for 3 days. Also the shower was not Working properly and the lighting was poor.
