Positive: I can only echo other people's sentiments that, if you are the sort of person who likes ABSOLUTE quiet, appreciates nature both flora and fauna (rabbits in front of the main window), this is magnificent. Also tastefully decorated. Roderick is an excellent, informative and likeable host.

Negative: As nothing is perfect I have to say the drive up and down from the track is pretty awful right now due to rains. Roderick informs me a bulldozer is coming. So, take it easy on the way there and back!

Positive: Stylish, typical Lanzarote house (not the white one, the one covered with lava stones), furnished traditionally with the Canarian wooden furnitures, with the huge window connecting your living space with the external cacti garden planted in black lava (Cesar Manrique style), full of books and superb atmosphere, located on the slope of Corona volcano. Quiet, just you and wild nature of volcanic blackness, wind and blue of Atlantic in a distance, at your feet. Very friendly, helpful and 100% discreet owner (thank you, Roderick).

Positive: This place over-delivered in every way and Roderick is the best host you could honestly hope for - multilingual, knowledgable, and just a top guy. The kitchen was equipped with a great selection of kitchenware, WI-FI was faultless, bedrooms comfy, living areas and bathroom beautifully decorated and so homey. And the views from this place are unreal. Incredible value if you’re looking for a special place to stay. FYI, you definitely need a car ;)

Positive: This property has great style and charm. It is off the beaten track and whilst there is wifi don't expect a television or microwave. Only the wind, the birds and the cockerel made for any noise. Now some may not care for these things so stick to the tourist hotspots but if it's peace and relaxation you want, you'll struggle to find better!

Negative: Keep your food away from the ants! And now you know to do this, there is nothing more to dislike!

Positive: It was a truly unique and breathtaking location. A really peaceful and quiet location with breathtaking views across Lanzarote. It was the first time we had visited Lanzarote and have found the unusual landscape and culture of the place interesting. The area around us was unspoilt and undeveloped in terms of tourism, which is what we like, it felt like an authentic Lanzarote experience. The house itself was effortlessly simple in design but really nicely thought through with details like an integral toilet roll holder and plant growing in the bathroom, a ‘conversation pit’ next to the fire and the enormous window making the most of the view. It was at one with it’s surroundings, magically disappearing into the landscape. We appreciated the quality of the artworks and furnishings of the house along with the piano, one does not usually get this level of quality in a holiday let!

Negative: I honestly can’t think of anything!
