Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Ideal location for us (we were fishing a competition on the canal in Bethune which was only a few minutes away). Very spacious house with large garden, which was ideal for us. Well equipped with a large kitchen and all utensils etc. required. Hosts were very accommodating to our needs

Negative: The only quibble was that the Wi-Fi was a little slow, but still worked OK. Both toilets/bathrooms being downstairs (all bedrooms upstairs) took a bit of getting used to, but again, not really a problem.

Summary: Very pleasant stay in a large, well equipped, well finished and spaciou house, in an ideal location

Positive: The property, the garden, the hospitality of the hosts, the cleanliness. The property is a 100-year-old family house and has been completely refurbished with style. The property owner is renting the house not to make good money out of it, but to keep it in the family. It makes a significant difference because the house is maintained with in mind that it is a family house and not a property to be maintained in a state that should be good enough for renting.
