Positive: We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The hosts were very hospitable. We had a wonderful dinner. And breakfast, too. And freshly baked cookies for the road. The host makes caramelized almonds. The almonds are grown in their garden. There's an outdoor pool on the property, and guests are provided with swimming caps and large towels for the pool. A must-see.

Positive: L’uliveto is a slice of beautiful, authentic charm in the Sicilian countryside. The hosts, Cherubina and Jacomo, were wonderful and welcoming - doing everything they could to be helpful. Cherubina’s cooking is pure magic for the soup - real Sicilian food from produce surrounding you on the farm. Definitely have dinners here - I’m so glad I didn’t miss them. The farmhouse is super clean, well kept and comfortable whilst being of obvious rustic Sicilian charm.

Negative: Nothing! But would note that you absolutely need a car to stay here - pretty impossible to get to otherwise.

Positive: The hospitality of all the family and staff was exceptional - courteous, kind, considerate and so generous. Breakfast included cakes for "later" and even foil to wrap them in. The fruit was from their own land, as were many of the vegetables for the evening meal.

Negative: It's worth bearing in mind that this place is great, but to explore the locality you do need a car. Buses and taxi's appear not to be available. It is possible to walk locally after a rather risky 0.5 km on the main road - after that its small single track roads that wind round the hills with spectacular views. there were only a limited number of places to sit in the sun or shade, unless by the pool.

Positive: Wonderful hosts! We have been to many places before but the hospitality here was really exceptional. They produce local vegetables and serve them to the guests. Breakfast was also excellent and exceptional since everything was home made by the owners. The location is also beautiful and spectacular view on the sea and the surrounding mountains. The place is 110% recommended by us.

Negative: Beds could have more comfortable especially the couch double bed.
