Summary: 25 minutes from Fredericksburg, this was the perfect spot for our stay. The house was very cozy and perfectly appointed. We arrived in the area and to our dismay, there were no grocery stores or resturants nearby. We got to the house with a pizza we ordered at a convenience mart in town. Got to the house and the host had snacking stuff there. Our need for coffe was also met and the house is amazing. We stayed 3 nights and I could have stayed forever. There are farm animals and wildlife all around. We absolutely loved it Ths owners of the house live on the property and were the most gracious hosts anyone could wish for. Super cute house. If we are ever in the area again, I hope we can stay there again.

Summary: Amazing doesn't even come close to describing L&L. Linda and Larry are fantastic host and make you feel so welcomed. Radar is the star of the show and loves to share apples with you (such a sweet deer). The home is clean and perfect. I can't to return. 8

Summary: Beautiful, clean, cozy home on a family ranch. Lots of outdoor space to sit and visit or cook. Wonderful hosts. Everything was perfect.

Summary: This is an amazing place to unwind and get disconnected from the daily grind. Tucked away outside of town in a great place with deer and other amazing creatures! Have visited twice and will definitely be back! House is so cute! Thank you Linda and Larry!

Summary: I'm sorry it has taken me 2 months to write this review, but I didn't want to let the opportunity escape. From arriva to departure, Larry and Linda were the most accomodating and attentive hosts. Linda has touched every space with her decorating style to prepare for her guest's needs, and decorates each of those spaces with seasonal decor, inside and OUT! They toured us the second floor that is normally locked for safety, and gave us a history of the home. They also drove us around the property and to their riverfront, and welcomed us to explore the property as our own. I mean, who does that?! But it was awesome, as that's our forté. We had such a good time. Oh, and I have to mention the meat/cheese tray in the frig, and the gift of a metal luminaria with flameless candle to remember our stay. Then there was the resident deer who eats from your hand, a a number of other pets. If a quiet, but history and nature filled getaway is your thing, (but still with all the amenities of home), you will absolutely love this place!

Summary: My husband and I stayed a few days here for our anniversary. It was everything we thought it would be and more! The owners were super nice. They took us for a ride around their property. They would always stop and speak if they saw us outside. The views were amazing. The house was charming. It was the perfect stay.
