Positive: We booked the Don carlos room, which is the biggest. The room was great but a bit over priced, the style of the room was correct with a nice TV and also the location close to nearby shops. For the breakfast distinguished decorations and an amazing staff member from Ireland. The cleaning staff was very welcoming as well. It was an uncommon and rare experience to sleep in the master suit that belongs to a king.

Negative: First of all, when we arrived on site, the hosting was the worst part , meaning no welcoming, no checking ( no IDs required), no presentation of the city as it was our first time, and no luggage carrying. As well as in the bathroom, they mentioned that bath soap was organic, which was not and no other bath products ( no shampoo, conditioner, neither most products we found in most commons hotel) as well as the soap dispenser was reusable therefore it was not quite hygienic. In the room fridge, there was only tap water and wines, no soft beverages. As for the breakfast propositions, there was only sweetness and nothing salty, we had eggs the last day because requested.

Summary: To summarise all , we had a royal experiment but without all the carrying intended for this standard.

Positive: Beautiful decor and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was plentiful, served on delicate porcelain china by delightful lady. The salon was peaceful and beautifully appointed.

Negative: The shower needs updating. The step in and out is very high and my husband slipped on exit. The shower was not particularly forceful and the soap/shampoo could have been better quality for the price we paid. Breakfast was wonderful but would have benefitted from more savoury choices.

Summary: Overall, a lovely stay but expected a better quality bathroom for the price

Negative: We were originally given a very small room with a tiny bathroom. They upgraded us to a much bigger brighter room with a bigger bathroom.

Positive: Great location and lovely building. Breakfast was excellent and very good value for money.

Negative: Had problems with turning the lights off in bedroom as switch did not appear to work. A plug in bathroom was not working which I fixed!

Summary: We will probably visit again as lovelrooms and setting and very helpful staff.
