Positive: Fantastic place to stay. The owner, Chantal is very kind and speaks English very well. The pool is lovely, the house is very modern and comfortable and the facilities on high level and very clean.

Positive: This house was exceptional. It had everything we needed, it was like home from home. It was our first time in this area and we would love to return to this property, so quiet and so comfortable, really good quality fit out and no corners cut. Pristine👏👏👏 Air con in all area’s of the house was fantastic, our host was fabulous and caring.

Positive: L’hermine de Sologne is an absolutely lovely place situated out in the countryside, a welcome relief from the busy chateaux. The property is big, spotlessly clean, looks just like the pictures online, is very comfortable and well stocked. A 15min drive brings you to a small town with lots of good restaurants. Chantal kindly made a dinner reservation for us when we struggling on a Sunday.

Positive: As I have been using Booking for many years this location has been elevated to the top of my list for best place I have stayed. It is out in the country yet has all the creature comforts of home in a newly built/renovated house with high end appliances and bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils and small appliance you could imagine. Linens are high end as is the bathroom with two person shower. All the roll down window shades are automatic ie push a buttom and it continues until closed and shuts off automatically. One of the few places in europe that has both a washing machine and seperate dryer and they are full size! Parking is on site through an automated gate. The gate is the second gate on right coming in fyi. Location is great for Chateu exploration.

Negative: Not a dislike but just fyi France changed all the postal addresses so the GPS has a different address than what is posted so I just used the old address and it took us right to the place.

Positive: Super stylish, converted barn with gated parking in a tranquil, rural location The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. Light, airy living room with comfy sofas plus a nice dining area, modern kitchen with brand new appliances, plus utility room with washing machine & a tumble drier and separate cloakroom. We also loved the little sun room at the back. The bedroom was luxurious with a very comfortable bed and wonderful bathroom. We didn’t need the other two bedrooms but one of them was useful to tuck away our suitcases. We spent both evenings with a good bottle of French wine, watching the sun set from our private terrace at the rear. There is a 20m swimming pool which we did intend to use, but we were so busy running around the surrounding countryside and then visiting the stunning chateau at Chambord, so we only managed a quick hour on the poolside sunbeds. The pool is definitely a bonus though! We intend to return!!
