Summary: Nice hotel with very friendly staff. We didn't eat in, as we had a reservation in the city. To come back in the evening at 22:00 and be refused to enjoy a cocktail at the balcony because it's reserved for dining guests, was a disappointment considering there was plenty of free tables and the kitchen was closed. They made a statement, and we got it and will not return again.

Summary: Breathtaking view on the terrace, the restaurant, the swimming pool and from the room. The room was very small but the view made up for it. St.-Cyr-au-Mont-d'Or was a very nice and quite area. Dinner was good at the hotel restaurant but breakfast was too pricy.

Summary: It is a great drive up to the top of the world outside Lyon but the voyage does not disappoint. Book for dinner in advance as it is popular. It was 34C on the day we arrived and the pool on the cliff was a miracle. Relax here before dinner and a night time gazing at the city lights in the distance below.
