Positive: Comfortable beds and large bathroom. Friendly host and nice breakfast. 20 min drive to Figuera da Foz
Negative: Rooms a bit hot at night. There was no fan or air con in the room. We left window open but as the house us on street the vehicles passing are a bit noisy. There is an outside common area with ping pong table and some tables and chairs. But it was extremely dusty so we didn’t use. It would be nice if there was a shady or cool common area where guests could relax. There is not really a place to eat or prepare your own food which is a bit difficult when travelling with a family.
Summary: Friendly host, nice breakfast, missing a cool area for families to rest, prepare food and eat.

Positive: I loved everything. First of all, Johana is an amazing host. She has a lot of care to every detail. The room is pristine clean, the bed is amazing, the bathroom and shower are also amazing... I felt really comfortable and didn't want to leave... The breakfast is delicious and abundant, everything so carefully taken care of, I feel beyond grateful for so much care. Merci beaucoup Johana, you are the best ❤️

Positive: The bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed and nice modern bathroom. The breakfast was great, with some nice local produce and variety. Johana is lovely - very friendly and helpful. The location is quiet and a good base for exploring Coimbra, Aveiro and the coast. I did some hiking (inland in the hills and along the coast) and bird watching - it's a beautiful area with great food.
Negative: There are no restaurants in easy walking distance, but there are some very nice ones within a short drive (in Montemor-o-Velho, Maiorca and Figueira da Foz).
Summary: I had a great holiday. LArche de Jo is a perfect base for exploring a beautiful part of Portugal
