Positive: Fabulous location for Kayserberg. Roomy Apartment.Nice view of Castle. Biggest beer wine fridge ever cutlery plates etc well set out. Nice bathroom upstairs.

Negative: The Jack and Jill bathroom upstairs didn't lock.The wooden stairs from the kitchen downstairs were the creakiest ever.The centre fireplace although quirky hadn't been cleaned.There was no dustpan and brush after little ones had made a mess. The two Hoovers were completely full not working.The outside door in the kitchen didn't lock.The decking was dirty with broken furniture and the umbrella stand was broken.Tap in kitchen loose. A shame as the above could be fixed to make the overall experience much better.

Positive: The apartment is lovely and we especially liked the bedrooms, upstairs bathroom and the terrasse with the view of the castle. The free parking permits are a nice touch. I read other reviews complaining about a lack of information: When you receive a text message with a link for the Lodgify app/webpage, you enter your e-mail and then you will receive info about how to enter the apartment, the wifi code etc. Worked perfectly for us. I had some questions while we were staying at the apartment and the agency staff replied promptly.

Negative: We would have liked more than one set of keys for the apartment and front door.

Negative: They require you to pay an additional deposit of 150 euros via credit card in order to receive the door key. Despite my extensive travel experience, I've never encountered such a situation before!

Positive: The location was fantastic. It was right outside the Christmas markets. It had a really big bathtub. It had a nice outside area that would be nice in the summer to sit and have a glass of wine.

Negative: To get to the apartment you have to climb steep stairs! It was very hard to get everything into the apartment because of it. We asked to check out at 11am and they said no, even though there wasn't anyone staying there the next day.
