Positive: The hotel itself was stunning! And the buildings and surrounding landscape were absolutely breathtaking. We also loved the thoughtful little touches, like cozy robes and slippers for the kids, which made them feel extra special. The family pool was a highlight, stocked with toys and rafts that kept our kids happily entertained for hours. Another standout was the Kids Club... fun, engaging, and refreshingly screen-free! For a bit of variety, my son and I enjoyed the driving range and putting greens. While not perfectly maintained, they were free to use and gave us a memorable afternoon of fun together. Overall, the combination of gorgeous surroundings, family-friendly amenities, and thoughtful details made our stay truly wonderful. We left with great memories and would happily return!

Negative: Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was that our suite had a leaking roof when it rained... something you would never expect at a five-star resort, especially given the premium price we paid for one of their more luxurious accommodations. Our two kids were sleeping upstairs, and by sheer luck we had moved the crib closer to our older son’s bed. On one of our first nights, a storm hit and water poured in exactly where the crib would have been. We ended up with multiple soaked towels and a very unsettling experience. When we reported it, the night manager came to check but offered little empathy. He attributed the problem to an “unprecedented” storm and told us there was nothing he could do other than have maintenance review it the next day. To be fair, it was a strong storm, but certainly not beyond what a resort of this caliber should be prepared for. The next day we were told someone had looked at it while we were out, but we received no clear update. Later that afternoon, another (much lighter) rain came through, and water leaked in again. Despite raising the issue a second time, the response was minimal... a bottle of wine was sent to the room, but there was no real attempt to resolve the underlying issue. It left us questioning whether management truly plans to address the problem or is simply hoping for sunny skies.

Summary: Fantastic time... just hope for no rain

Positive: The property is beautiful! We loved the location, the surroundings and the variety of things to do for families.

Negative: A 20€ delivery charge for a room service order for a pasta off the kids menu (total charge being 34€) is more than steep, especially because it wasn’t mentioned in the menu.

Negative: Service would benefit from some training in terms of customer experience, courtesy and attention to details, notably pool staff and breakfast / catering staff. Discussions between kitchen staff and breakfast room staff in front of customers should be avoided. Kitchen staff to be better trained on attention to detail and customer experience. Wifi connection in the dependance building is very poor, which makes it hard to work.

Negative: We had some issues with the room, we changed 2 times (one for ants in the room) and we "downgraded" every time we changed.. I expected from the management some "treatment" at the end of the stay.. but nothing except a bottle of wine (the cheapest) from the staff (that was appreciated) because the manager was not there. For that kind of hotel we expected more. I was also a bit disappointed from the restaurant, I booked to go to Trattoria but it was closed but they guarantee that the menu will be at the same level... and it wasn't. Even at breakfast i asked a simple egg cooked in a different way and they want to charge a surplus.

Summary: Beautiful location but a bit "overpriced" for the services offered and included.
