Positive: We fell in love with this bed and breakfast run by a very lovely couple. They have put a lot of work into remodeling the building and grounds to be modern and sustainable (solar, water system, permaculture focus) while still keeping the feeling of the original structure. We could see the thought and care they put into this place in many of the details in our room and the shared spaces. The main kitchen and dining/sitting area is furnished with dishes and a shared mini-fridge for guests if you want to make your own lunch or drinks, with shelves holding a lot of games and books as well. Our room was very comfortable. The grounds are so pretty and peaceful, with several different areas to sit and look at different views and to say hello to their adorable farm dog. The pool of course is very nice. Breakfasts were excellent, with many of the jams, compotes, etc. homemade from local ingredients including from their garden and fruit trees. The yogurt is also homemade and is some of the best we've ever had. We opted to rent their electric bikes for a day and had a wonderful ride in the surrounding area. They had a special IGN map made of the area surrounding their village and were able to recommend several hikes, including in the Foret de Saou which was stunning, as well as several restaurants and other places to visit. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, quiet place run by gracious hosts.
