Positive: I love everything about my stay. I want to specifically acknowledge Haruta-san for making both our dinners and breakfasts very enjoyable. He recommended delicious food and was thoughtful during the food service. I'm very happy we got a photo with him!! I also want to acknowledge Tanigawa-san for making our check-in and check-out process seamless. I apologize if I mis-spelled anybody's name! The venue was bright, clean and quiet. Perfect to celebrate our honeymoon together. I greatly appreciated the futon set-up service. It was impressive to watch the skill of the employees who set up our futons efficiently and comfortably. The food was all exceptional. I loved every bite. Of course, I loved the bunnies as well.

Negative: I could not think of a single negative aspect about my stay.

Positive: If you want to spend more time with the rabbits you don't really have another option - but the staff was very friendly, the meals were good and it was excellent value for the location

Negative: The facility is dated but it is the only accommodation on the island, and the rooms are clean and well maintained

Positive: This place is amazing. The rooms are amazing. The buffet for Brrakfast and Dinner were amazing and included in the price. So much variety from Sushi, hotpot, Curry, tempura. The list goes on. Onsen is one of the better ones about too. Open from 5am to midnight you'll want 3 of them per day. Definitely recommend spending a couple of days here but remember to buy bunny food on the Mainland as there is none available on the island.

Positive: We loved the location, it was so easy to get around the island on foot and on rental bikes! The views from the room out into the beachfront and courtyard full of bunnies was so lovely. There really are tons of bunnies on the island which was amazing! Also the staff were extremely helpful, telling us the best tips for seeing the island and making up the room with futons since we had never done it before! The breakfast and dinner service is so easy for not having to worry about meals and the cafe is open in case you are hungry before dinner! Loved the toasted baguettes. Also, the gift shop has a great collection of souvenirs and some essentials you might need. Finally, it was lovely they offered activities. We loved the nighttime sea fireflies demonstration.

Positive: Rabbits, of course! So~ cute! The variety of foods served (menu) and the dining room setting. The view from our room was exceptional - actually, it was better than a picture.

Negative: We should have stayed longer - our regret. *Our low teenager disliked Onsen and preferred a room-shower.

Positive: Okunoshima is an intriguing world that juxtaposes the gothic ruins of wars past with the liveliness of free-roaming rabbits (from domestic roots). The rabbits, wild pigs, crows, insects, snakes, rats, plants, and all other nonhumans live in an entanglement of give and take. The rabbits are beautiful, and they communicate their needs for food and water to those who visit. Please fill their water bowls with clean water when you visit! The views from the observation deck are breathtaking. This island is my favourite place on the planet, and I feel blessed to visit as often as possible. I can't wait to return.
