Positive: This hotel is on an incredible location on the NC500, just off the Kylesku bridge with panoramic views from the dramatic surrounding loch and hills from the bar and restaurant and good views from the rooms. There is great shared common space in the form of a residents lounge. The bar and kitchen are well appointed and have great food. The staff is terrific and very caring and attentive to the needs of all travellers. The rooms are well cared for and amenitized.

Summary: Stunning location in the NC500 with incredibly caring staff.

Positive: A comfortable stay made special by excellent staff and wonderful location. The restaurant is expensive, but the food is very good and we expect to pay a premium in such a remote spot. This is a fabulous place to hunker down for a night or two to get away from the bustle and enjoy some creature comforts after a day exploring the great outdoors.

Negative: Nothing - we enjoyed every part of our stay.

Positive: The food was lovely. Nice room but outdated Windows, if you come near them you'll be cold. Redt of the room was too warm.

Negative: The hotel was closed for unknown reasons so they changed us Last minute (one week ahead) tot another Hotel 200 km earlier on the NC 500. This kinda ruined our roadtrip for three says. Would be Nice to receive more communication about the reasons why it was closed.

Positive: Very clean and comfortable. Staff attitude was top notch. Facilities are new. Location is easy to find. Parking right in front of the hotel.

Negative: The cost per night was high even when the stay was done during the winter in Dec. The app showed a reduction by over £170 for a two-night stay if I hadn’t booked the stay so early in September. I have paid a lot more in extra. :(
