Positive: This is a very nice property, well designed and nicely decorated. We were made very welcome with a bottle of sparkly and a box of biscuits. The kitchen was a really nice size and it was easy to prepare food for a group of 6 people. There was plenty of room for people to mingle or go their own way. The bedrooms were very nice with comfortable beds and bedding. I would like to come back.

Negative: Nothing really. The only thing is the trains that run, which actually we should have expected because that was explained in the description. But we did not find them a nuisance.

Summary: A great place for a family to stay.

Positive: - Beautiful property - No neighbours - Big enclosed garden - Parking - Big rooms, comfortable fit 2x families of 4 - Well equipped, pots/pans/high chair etc - Children very excitable by trains - Wine cooler - Lots of comfy seating - Big comfy beds - Good shower & bath - Lovely walks nearby - Stunning views - Old timely looking outside - Modern inside - Good heating system

Negative: - The trains run all through the night and shake the whole house (luckily this only work the adults) - We may have been unlucky, but the place was full of midgies so we did get bitten - The front door was very hard to open from both the inside and outside, but we just used the back often. - As this is a pet friendly holiday, as we don’t have pets, we noticed how covered in dog hair our clothes became from sitting on the sofa/caroets

Positive: We had an amazing long weekend at this unique cottage. It was much bigger than we thought it would be and easily accommodated 4 adults and 3 children. We brought our dog and the garden was completely secure so he could run around. The trains weren’t too frequent at all and really weren’t a disturbance.
