Positive: Overall, it was a good, value-for-money choice for a city break. The location is the hotel's biggest asset. It's perfectly situated within Amsterdam's famous Canal Ring (Grachtengordel), a UNESCO World Heritage site. You're immediately immersed in the postcard-perfect scenery of bridges and historic houses. For sightseeing, it's incredibly convenient: · While the immediate block has a few local shops, you're only a 5-minute walk from busier areas with more restaurants, cafes, and boutiques. · It's walking distance to major museums; the Museumplein (home to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, and Stedelijk) is about a 15-20 minute stroll or a quick tram ride away. · For arrival and departure, it's very practical: the Airport Express (Bus 397) stop is less than a 10-minute walk away, making the trip to and from Schiphol Airport straightforward.

Positive: Good location, the area feels very safe and you can easily reach the museums/city centre. The rooms are very good and clean. The staff is very available and friendly. There is a coffee machine available in the ground floor free of charge for the guests. Overall a great hotel!

Negative: The only downside is that the room in which we stayed is a bit dark but it was not a big issue for us.
