Positive: We had a lovely experience at Krishnayan Heritage, Gwalior. The place has a welcoming atmosphere and made our visit memorable. A special thanks to Mr. Yogesh ji for his warm hospitality and helpful nature. He was courteous and attentive throughout, and made us feel genuinely welcome. We would be happy to visit again!

Positive: Absolutely loved the place! Beautiful historical house, lovely owners, great helpful stuff and amazing hospitality! The food was awesome too. We stayed just one night and wished to stay much more. Will surely recommend to all our friends. Looking forward to coming back to that beautiful oasis

Positive: Peaceful and quite in mid of hustling city market, birds chirping, beautiful haveli with modern amenities, tree filled traditional courtyard, home made food and personal attention to detail. Mother and son Phalke's were excellent hosts.

Positive: Large bedroom. Breakfast was good and staff very polite. Courtyard was pleasant area to sit.
Negative: Only finding out on arrival that there no catering for me (lunch, dinner, drinks, etc.) didn’t find out reason, believe I was only person staying. Had to go out in surrounding streets to find meals and drinks. No windows in room.

Positive: The room was gorgeous, everything was clean. The staff was helpful, answering all our questions. Also playing holi was memorable in that place. The food is very nice. The driver recommended by the hotel was great he took us around to admire the beauties of Gwalior and took us all the way to Khajuraho with a visit to Orchha along the way. The landlord is a wonderful and kind person.

Positive: A well maintained authentic Haveli in center of Gwalior. The Main Building, all at ground floor level, is set back from the busy street, so the bedrooms, courtyard and dining area were away from the hustle and bustle of the city, there is a main gate, which is manned and opened to drive up to the lobby entrance, and turn the car around. There are only a few steps to navigate (unusual). The room and bathroom were well appointed, spacious, clean, and beds firm (perfect for us) with stamped cotton sheets, which provided warmth. We were there during 50F winter eves, and were provided extra blankets and heater. The Family members were lovely and gracious, the staff so helpful and friendly. Breakfast and dinner (upon reservation) were homemade and delicious. We loved the relaxed atmosphere after a full day of sightseeing. The courtyard has comfortable places to sit and enjoy. We became addicted to the sesame cookies they had for dessert, and ate more than we should. Upon leaving they gave s a box of cookies (they must have noticed ;) ). We cherished them back home. It's the perfect place especially if you can stay more than a night, for the tranquility, comfort and homecooked meals.
Negative: We had to keep our coats on in dining room, but I am sure the coolness is welcoming during the hot season.
Summary: Beautiful comfortable haveli, best rest after a busy day sightseeing.

Positive: Lovely haveli-style hotel full of charm and character. An oasis of calm amidst the chaos outside! It felt peaceful, safe and secure. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Well presented room. Huge bathroom with excellent shower. Good fan and aircon. Breakfast was fantastic.
Negative: The twin beds were rather narrow and the mattresses very firm indeed. Sheets also felt a little rough. Having said that they were comfortable enough. There was an annoying light over the door that couldn’t be turned fully off so no blackout for sleeping.
Summary: Lovely place to stay.
