Positive: Fantastic location, just one minute from the the long and sandy beach and vast line of restaurants and bars along the beachside. There is also a dedicated parking lot which is ideal, especially when the council parking space quickly fills up in high season. The rooms are fairly spacious, and they all have a nice front area to sit in, with a table and chairs.

Negative: The bathroom is really tiny and the ventilation didn't work well enough in it, often making it feel damp; the shower was also a bit small and old, with curtains and cubicle that didn't look exactly fresh or new. The staff was responsive and helpful, but not always as knowleadgeable and informative as we would have liked. We asked for information about a hike to a local waterfall, and the info wasn't actually accurate as the path to the site was in fact not accessible, contrary to what we were told. Wi-Fi is quite patchy and only works properly close to the Reception area, which made it a bit tricky when we needed to take a couple of work calls.

Positive: Great location, slightly off-center which was a bonus (less noise). The staff and owner/person responsible for the booking were just wonderful (and I mean that!). Thick wall between the rooms meaning that minimum noise from the other rooms. Thick curtains meant that the nights felt like... nights X

Negative: I, honestly, can't think of one thing I did not like. Ok, maybe just one tiny improvement: the small window that gives to the back could do with a thick curtain for complete darkness in the morning.

Positive: Very good location , close to the beach and quiet. The hostess was very welcoming , helpfull and friendly Every day they put on the table fresh figs for the guests. Very good value for the price.

Positive: Easy walk to the beach and shopping area.

Negative: We were not given the room we selected and paid for through booking.com We booked a two-room apartment on the ground floor with a private patio and a garden view. What we got when we arrived was two adjoining rooms on the second floor, no patio and a view of a construction site. We were 5 people. My husband and myself our two teenage children and my mother. In the second room for my mother and the kids there were two single beds and a very small and dirty cot. I had emailed twice before we arrived to make sure we would have three beds. I gave them the age of my kids (two teenagers) my son could not fit on the cot and the frame was all bent. One of the rooms we were given did not have a flushing toilet and the staff were not helpful about fixing it. They told us you have two rooms use the other bathrooms and we will come by tomorrow to fix the toilet. After the person who was trying to fix the toilet left there was gross toilet water left on the bathroom floor and the toilet still did not work! We had to ask multiple times to move rooms to get the two rooms that had been booked for our family through booking.com. I have been to Eresos before and in fact have stayed at the Krinelos Rooms years ago and had a good experience. How ever this time was very different. We speak enough Greek to overhear the staff talking about how the place was over booked. They had multiple guests showing up without receiving the rooms they had booked. At the end of our stay the owner tried to say we owed additional fee because we changed rooms. They also insisted the fees could not be added to the credit bill or paid with credit card because it would affect their taxes, so they needed us to pay the extra fees in cash.

Summary: Find another option. Owners are not honest.
