Positive: My elderly mum and I had the most wonderful stay in Barrytown in the beautiful surroundings near Punakaiki. Karen and Nigel are such lovely, welcoming hosts who have created a truly beautiful beachside retreat. The cabin we stayed in (Koru) had everything we needed and it's located so close to the sea, the views and scenery are absolutely breathtaking. I had the most amazing sleep in an incredibly comfortable bed, and the shower was fantastic with great pressure! The overall ambiance and peacefulness made it a highlight of our trip. We couldn't have asked for a better experience—highly recommended and I will definitely be back again to stay.. Thanks again guys, you're AMAZING hosts! 🌞 🌴 🌊 🏖️ 🐚 ✨

Negative: Wifi was not working well at the barn unit. Toilet was more camping style. Sheets and towels were a bit stiff.

Positive: Loved the location, the space, the amenities everything was amazing!! Loved the sound of the ocean we seemed to be the only ones there and had the whole hot tub to ourselves! If you’re going make sure you get some food at the supermarket and make yourself(yourselves) a lovely home cooked meal.

Negative: I didn’t like that we didn’t stay longer ☺️
