Komodo Resort is located on Sebayur Island bordering Komodo National Park, an hour’s boat ride from the Komodo Dragon Tour on Rinca Island. Surrounded by the sea, the resort features a private beach area and on-site diving and snorkeling opportunities. Komodo Resort is a 1.5-hour boat ride to Labuan Bajo Harbor, and a further 10-minute drive to Komodo Airport. Pink Komodo Beach, which overlooks a stunning Indonesian reef, is a 1.5-hour boat ride away. Rooms have direct beach access and offer a private terrace with sea views. A mini-bar, wardrobe and desk are provided. Private bathrooms include shower facilities. Private sun lounge and beach umbrellas are available. The resort provides a free two-way shuttle from Komodo Airport to Labuan Bajo. We also offer complimentary Island boat shuttle to/from our private resort in Sebayur Island for Guests with daily schedule as follow: - Labuan Bajo to Sebayur Island at 12.45pm - Sebayur Island to Labuan Bajo at 08.30am Outside these timing, a paid boat transfer is available with an extra charge and last possible departure from Labuan Bajo to the resort is at 05.00pm. Positive: This place is magical! You stay in beautifully constructed, super comfortable hut right on an incredible house reef that you can snorkel in at any time. We saw so many tropical fish, corals, reef sharks, and sea turtles there. The sunsets are so nice and there's a little hiking area you can use to get an even better view than the one from your room. Really, the location is just mind-blowing. They also offer tours to sights around Komodo National Park that are super well run. My husband did 4 dives through the the diving shop and highly recommends it. As for the full board, the restaurant has great food for being a remote island, and everyone who works there is extremely helpful in making your meals as enjoyable as possible. Overall, we had an incredible experience at Komodo Resort and thought it was totally worth the price---highly highly recommend!

Negative: The only thing I can think to complain about is that the cocktails were overpriced, given they were small and contained hardly any alcohol.

Positive: Cozy little resort with bungalows right on the beach. Very clean, very kind people, always with a smile. Very clear waters, brimming with sealife.

Negative: The food needs a lot of work: no salad offered with lunch and even though there's a salad buffet for dinner it is really poor. A small bowl of green leaves without oil, a bowl of very heavy and thick dressing, bakes beans in a red sauce, back and green pitted olives, some days cherry tomatoes. You can always ask for some salad as a side dish but it's always dry. For the money you pay (which is affordable but not cheap) you would expect more. And drinks are charged even if they're not alcohol.

Positive: One of the guides, Walter, is a real asset to the resort. Great location including reef on your doorstep. Brilliant for snorkelling.

Negative: A little overpriced, especially as full board food is a little hit and miss, especially for vegetarians. There are no alternative dining options. Not a big deal unless you stay for more than a few days. You can only book activities via the resort so there are no price options or alternatives. Ask and book ahead of time.
